Welcome to my photography website Birds and other nature, Photographs from Iceland .
Most of the photographs are of birds simply because I love being around them. I relax so much around them and it is so easy for me to just be in the moment with the birds. At the same time, however, there is a certain tension involved in trying to capture a photograph of various details and special moments that we do not usually see so well with our eyes, but a camera with a zoom lens allows us to freeze the moment on a photograph and see it better.
My short story is that I am an amateur photographer and have been for almost twenty years. A woman who is in her seventies but still loves to go for short road trip or longer trips out into nature to play with the camera. Then when I get home I sit down at the computer to process the photographs which are all taken in RAW format.

Now I'm making an old dream of my own photo website come true. I hope you who see this website enjoy looking at my photographs of Icelandic nature.
